Post School Subjects
I was just wondering if you would consider making some cards for school subjects.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

I do have some flash cards for subjects but I'm hoping to do a bit better job with them. I orginally used them to teach 'What's your favorite ~ ?' with upper elementary school students but I haven't used the cards much myself recently.

Once I get those ready, I'll let you know.

What were you going to use them to teach?

Post Thanks again
Thanks again for your quick reply and making those flash card available to me.

I am using planning to use them both to teach the vocabulary of the subjects (I'm teaching elementary school kids, so they don't know this vocabulary yet) as well "What time do you have ______________?"

Though my teaching plan may change at any time.

Thanks again.

I just want to bump this one back up there.

I love using your flashcards. Maybe I've just gotten too used to them! I teach school subjects to elementary kids and I would love to have some cards to go with it!

Pretty please!

Well, school subjects are really giving me problems...

I can't come up with anything fun or catching.

What do you think about textbooks with different pictures on the cover to represent the subjects? :smt017

here's what I had before www.mes-english.com/flashcards/subjects.php

I'm not very proud of them. I rank them just above my 'days of the week' set. But they might help until I can do better.

Well, what are your subjects?

History- Some explorer in a wooden boat about to crash into some land???
Chemistry - Some student or scientist that just blew himself up with chemicals??
Physics-- Something heavy falling on some physics teacher??
Math-- Someone in dispair with a really impossible math problem.
Reading-- A nerd reading an insanely thick book.
P.E.-- Some skinny kid getting creamed while playing dodgeball by a jock 4 times his size.
Geography-- Some lost dude with a world map or globe
Social Studies--- People from obviously different cultures encountering each other.

I need to be an artist....

OK. Here we go. The page isn't indexed on the site yet but I have redone the subject flashcards.
www.mes-english.com/flashcards/subjects.php

I'm going to add a bit more (PowerPoint presentation and worksheets for the worksheet section.) I really like them and I hope they are useful to you.

The handout and large flashcard images are different to an extent. So, you might want to check out both.
