Sorry for the deceiving title. there is no fighting in this game but it has the same round style successive progress as the game.

you line all the students up so they are standing or sitting shoulder to shoulder. you then start with the two far left-end students.

show them a card, or ask them a question or do whatever English thing you need. the first person to answer correctly moves on to challenge the next kid in line. if the same kid wins he continues until he has beaten everyone and claims champion over everyone. if he loses, he goes to the far left end of the line the person who won goes to the end also but doesn't challenge the kid he already beat, but the kid that lost the first round. the process is repeated until one kid has challenged and beaten every other classmate.

for example say the kids are lined up like this S1 S2 S3 S4 S5
S1 and S2 fight, and lets say S2 wins, he then goes on to challenge S3,4,5. lets say he loses to S4, then S4 goes to challenge S1,3,5. this continues until one student beats all 4 classmates in a row.

you can then give the winner a crown or something to mark him as king, and the next day you can do it again and see who can defeat the King. the kids like to idea of trying to defeat the King.

happy teaching
