that link will take to to a video site that has an 80s Japanese video. It is Englicise Video. They are exercising and teaching english but the phrases they are teaching are hillarious. If you got 5 minutes to spare check it out.

Thanks for these links. I had no idea that such a program ever existed. It almost sounds like a good idea, but turned out rather odd.

Even funnier still the choice of phrases used for this show. I have never considered a lesson on the subject of 'What to say when if you are robbed"

It really gives you some insight as to what people in Japan (1980s) thought they might need to say if traveling to the States.

Granted it was just one show.

It seems like a really good idea and chanting is a great way to remember. I actually think I'm going to start doing something similar to that in my TPR segments with kids. But I'm probably going to use different phrases :D

'Spare me my life.'
'Spare me my life.'
'Spare me my life.'
'Spare me my life.'

Really cool website! I live in Okinawa and don't get that Fuji channel. It is a very refreshing way of teaching English.

 Good website. It is very funny.
I sang with the girls and the men in the second video. We should have the same in France instead of the old-fashioned methods we can see on Tv.
