Hi all,

I'm from Christchurch in New Zealand, and am teaching in South Korea at the moment at a Middle School. I have been teaching for 3 years before this in China, but wanted to have a change - and so far it has been great...
Great website, and now that I am in my current job, I have gone mad printing out the flashcards - they don't mind how much coloured ink I use.
Loving the spring and waiting for the heat of summer.

Oh yeah... I'm from Canada:)

I was just wondering what you think about teaching in Korea...I was just accepted to teach in South Korea for 3 weeks in the summer and I would love any pointers! Thank you!

Well, it's a US based site actually. (The account and server are in the US.) However, I live in Japan and run the site from here. I can set the time to match any time zone, but it just seemed best to set it for the time zone I'm living in.

Would you like us to tell you what happens in the future? :lol:

Post subject:  Hello from Switzerland!!

Hello everyone!!

I'm an Australian but have lived here in Switzerland
for nearly 27 years. :=)

I do a lot of private teaching....kids, teens and some adult
evening classes too. :=)

I enjoy my job a lot and feel very satisfied when all of my
students, no matter what the age, make progress and manage
to express themselves in English!!

It's nice to meet people from all over the world on this great site!!

My name is Linea,

I live in Nyuzen, Toyama-ken, Japan.
I use this site all the time for the 24 lessons I teach each week at elementary and jr. high schools. The students really like the images on the flashcards. We've just started using the 'Big Town' cards and they love them -espcially the woman named "Deb" which comes out "debu" to them and means 'fat' in Japanese!.

Hi, I'm James and I'm currently living in Nantou, Taiwan. I come from South Africa. I heard about this site from a co-worker of mine who knows some good web sites for english resources. Thanks for contributing all of the games and flashcards, they've really been useful!

Hello My name is David. I am in Caotun, Taiwan. I am originally from Saskatoon, Canada. I have to say. This is by far the best site on the internet. Whenever I need a few lessons, I can go to a section and download the cards and games that go along with it. I find that the kids really respond well to the pictures and the way the topics are related. Also I have found so much amazing information on these forums from all of the other teachers out there. Thanks Mark and everyone else involved in making this a top notch site. Keep up the good work!
