Post pre-class warm-up
Do you have anything you do to get yourself ready and rollin' before class?

For me, it's usually 4 cups of coffee and some funky music.

I close my eyes breathe in love and breathe out love towards the world in general and my students in particular, especially the noisy and recalcitrant ones. Then I put a smile on my face and get in the car and drive to school. :D

I drink alot of water (crankyness is the first sign of dehydration) and look out the window and think wow its a big world with a lot going on and im alive. It seems to make me relax.

I also think before I go in that I have to get through the next 50 mins anyway, so I may as well enjoy it and give the kids a good time too.

Goes faster that way so its win - win!

Nothing special really...but I do like to set myself into a jolly good mood - to do justice to the kids and myself. I'd rather have fun teaching..and nothing should get in the way.
