I started carving pumpkins today.

Unfortunately, I only have two more pumpkins.I'll carve them this Saturday before the party. I have one pattern in mind but still haven't decided what to do with the other one ...

Do you have any Halloween plans for this year?

In my classes, I do a little bit of Halloween vocabulary and talk about what Americans usually do on Halloween. We use the Halloween flashcards and bingo cards to play bingo. I also use the small game cards to play Go Fish or Concentration. There are some other games on that page that I play every year. The students really like the Candy Zombie game. I also play the Bone Collector game from time to time.

Our Halloween party was last Sunday. Here is a picture of my family in the little photo corner I set up:

I also set up a ninja house for children to walk through. It was a maze with a few different obstacles and surprises inside. As a game, they had to find the ninja that was hiding inside the maze.
