Firstly forgive me if this has been covered somewhere else on the forum.

Has anyone heard of or teaches using his methods?

I am currently listening to and trying to absorb what I am watching.

Would love to hear from people who have had experince in the classroom using his methods

Regards

RABBLE - Welcome to the forums!

Are whole brain techniques different from Multiple Intelligences?

Hi Mark,

No I don't think so, although it may incorporate some of those disciplines.

The premise is to fully engage the students in the classroom using different techniques.

I used one of the techniques and to my surprise it worked. I met a teacher in Thailand last year while I was on holiday and she told me about this method and tha ther training centre have incorporated the methods into their school with great success.
By the way Mark and have been trying to listen to your podcasts, accessing them from the forum it downloads and then when I try to open the file it doesn't
I was able to access a podcast from the curriculum file OK.

Sorry to trouble you but I am so keen to listen to the topics they are so relevent to most of my teaching situation and as I work in a virtual vacumn it helps the isolation

The podcasts are all saved in the same format. When I click the link, it loads QuickTime and the podcasts stream in my browser. Are you being prompted to download the file first? If so, what program are you using to play the files?

Can you try opening the files you have saved with QuickTime or iTunes?

You can also access the files directly from the ESL Teacher Talk website. www.eslteachertalk.com - Those audio files are saved on a different storage server and may work better for you as far as downloading goes. Although, the file format is the same, m4a.

I'm glad you like the show and that they'll be helpful to you there. Let me know about the help tips and questions above and I'll see what additional advice I can give.

Hi Mark

I downloaded them both and the podcasts are coming through loud and clear. Thanks for that.

Cheers
